TraderDarl Terms of Use
Pre-launch draft. Bracketed items must be completed by the developer, and the terms should be reviewed by a qualified lawyer before publication. This text does not guarantee legal compliance.
Effective: [EFFECTIVE DATE]
1. Agreement
These Terms are an agreement between you and [DEVELOPER / LEGAL ENTITY NAME] ("we") for your use of TraderDarl. By creating an account or using TraderDarl you accept them. If you do not agree, do not use TraderDarl.
2. What TraderDarl is — and is not
- TraderDarl is a tool to record and review your own trades, calculate figures from the numbers you enter (for example position size, risk, profit and loss, analytics and prop-challenge progress), keep your own rules and checklists, and manage personal tasks, habits and notes.
- TraderDarl is not a broker, exchange, investment adviser, portfolio manager or signal provider. It does not execute, place or block trades, is not connected to any brokerage account, and does not give personalised investment, financial, tax or legal advice.
- Nothing in TraderDarl is a recommendation to buy or sell anything. Past results shown in the app do not predict future results. We do not guarantee any trading outcome or profit.
3. Calculations and your responsibility
- Calculations use only the information you enter or import and the method described next to each result. They exclude anything the screen says is excluded (for example fees, slippage, swaps or funding in Position size).
- Instrument specifications such as contract size, pip size, multipliers and conversion rates come from you. Check them with your broker or exchange.
- Prop-firm challenge rules are entered by you. TraderDarl cannot confirm a firm's actual rules, and its results are not a firm's official determination.
- You are responsible for verifying every figure before you rely on it, and for your trading decisions.
4. Your account
- Provide accurate information, keep your password confidential, and keep your device secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- If you forget your password, you can reset it from the sign-in page through a link sent to your email address.
- You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to use TraderDarl. [LEGAL REVIEW]
5. Your content
- You own the records, screenshots, notes and other content you add or import. You give us only the permissions needed to store and process it to provide TraderDarl to you.
- Only import or upload content you have the right to use. Imported documents are read on your device; check the imported results before saving them.
- Your records are stored on our servers and synced to your devices. We take reasonable care to keep them safe, but no service is free of failures, so keep your own backups of anything important (Settings → Backup & Restore).
6. Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to access other users' data or our systems without permission, interfere with the service, reverse engineer it except where the law allows, or use it for anything unlawful.
- Do not use TraderDarl to offer financial services or signals to others while presenting them as provided by TraderDarl.
7. Plans, trial and billing
- Plans: Essential (₹99 per month or ₹899 per year) and Pro (₹149 per month or ₹1,349 per year), with a 30-day trial giving full Pro access. Plan features and limits are shown in Settings → Subscription.
- Billing is not active yet. No payment details are collected, nothing renews, and nothing is charged. Choosing a plan in the app only saves your preference on your device.
- When paid plans are available, they are subscriptions paid by Autopay (card, UPI AutoPay or bank e-mandate): you approve once and the plan renews automatically each month or year until you cancel. You are notified before each charge.
- Cancellation and refunds: you can cancel at any time in Settings → Subscription; this stops future charges and you keep access until the end of the period already paid. Payments are non-refundable, including for partly used periods, except for duplicate charges, charges made after you cancelled, or where the law requires a refund — see the Cancellation & Refund Policy ([WEBSITE ADDRESS]/legal/refund-policy.html).
- When a trial ends, your data is not deleted; features outside your plan become unavailable until you choose a paid plan.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep TraderDarl reliable but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may change or discontinue features and will give reasonable notice of material changes where we can.
9. Suspension, termination and deletion
You can stop using TraderDarl and delete your account at any time (Settings → Delete account). We may suspend or end access if you seriously breach these Terms or where the law requires. Deleting your account deletes your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Privacy
How we handle your information is described in the TraderDarl Privacy Policy.
11. Intellectual property and third-party software
TraderDarl, its name, logo and software belong to us or our licensors. TraderDarl includes open-source software used under its own licences.
12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, TraderDarl is provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for trading losses, lost profits, or indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of TraderDarl or reliance on its calculations. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. [LEGAL REVIEW: liability cap and consumer-law carve-outs per jurisdiction]
